Hāwea Greenwaste fee increase from 1st November 2021

The Hāwea Community Association committee has advised that a modest increase in some charges at the Greenwaste Centre will become effective from 1st November 2021.

This is the first fee increase at the Greenwaste Centre since 1999.

Please read attached fee schedule. The main changes are for ute, regular and tandem trailer loads of green waste.

The changes will take effect on 1st November:

Greenwaste Drop Off

• Bag - residents: $1 / non-residents $2

• Woolsack/Carboot - residents: $3 / non-residents $6

• Ute - residents: $7 / non-residents $14

• Trailer (regular) - residents: $7 / non-residents $14

• Tandem Trailer (large) - residents: $15 / non-residents $30

• Small Truck (2-3T) - residents: $20 / non-residents $40

Mulch Purchase

• Trailer (regular) - residents: $5 / non-residents $10

• Tandem Trailer (large) - residents: $10 / non-residents $20
